Currently, we are supporting them to hire an experienced, motivated, and inspirational leader for their SSC in the city of Varna as a:Site ManagerKey Responsibilities:
-Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the local team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting;
-Oversee clean-up tasks and coordinate resources to meet deadlines and quality standards;
-Ensure full compliance with Bulgarian statutory accounting, tax, and financial regulations;
-Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors and local authorities;
-Support the implementation and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes across international teams;
-Act as a key liaison between the Varna office and headquarters on finance-related matters;
-Play a leadership role in fostering a collaborative and high-performing office culture;Main requirements:
-Previous experience in a similar role in a shared service center (SSC) or an international service delivery organisation;
-University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Accounting and Control, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications - any of those is an advantage;
-6+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years of proven experience in a leadership role;
-Strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax regulations;
-Excellent communication skills in English and Bulgarian languages;
-Advanced level of knowledge of the GERMAN language ( B2 or higher);
-Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead a team and represent the company locally;
-Self-driven, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment;
-Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage, but it is not mandatory;The company can offer:
