As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be part of one of our multidisciplinary teams where you’ll work closely with tech leads, product managers, and software architects. The Daily Fantasy Sports team drives DraftKings’ original product with year-round sports contests, focusing on innovation, scalability, and operational excellence. You’ll be a valuable contributor to our processes and decision-making, so when we build new features, we can ensure scalability and availability of the entire platform.What you’ll do as a Senior Software EngineerBuild scalable, highly reliable, and fault-tolerant solutions, continuously improving systems and swiftly responding to adverse behavior.Develop systems and APIs that power a rich set of applications used by a large and passionate group of users every day.Care about agility as much as you care about scalability. We roll out products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment’s notice.Maintain the application software throughout the product life cycle.Support production for Incident management and problem resolution.Mentor other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging.What you’ll bringAt least 5 years of development experience in object-oriented programming using .NET/C#, building robust and maintainable backend systems.Deep understanding of OOP, design patterns, software architectures, and relational databases.Hands-on experience developing distributed systems in a cloud environment such as AWS, as well as writing and maintaining a comprehensive test suites (unit, integration, performance).Basic experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, jQuery, and TypeScript.Familiarity with observability tools, performance tuning, and operating containerized systems (Docker/Kubernetes) in high-load environments is considered an advantage.#LI-AA2#LI-REMOTEJoin Our TeamWe’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston.
