Manage the Marketing Cloud team, ensuring that the team is productive, nurtured and accomplishing their goals
Position the team within the broader organizational context and create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Nurture team members' strengths and identify areas for improvement by addressing knowledge gaps within the team
Instill an attitude of awareness and elevated perception of self and others for each team member
Communicate organisational updates and provide feedback
Lead the Marketing Cloud team vision and strategy, both for the system and for the team, into reality
Seek ways to improve the team's knowledge on key aspects, such as Email Sender Reputation, IP health, Mobile Communication Channels, Programming Languages, relevant Salesforce innovations
Measure and track performance - set goals, KPIs and clear expectations
Collaborate with the Salesforce architect and the other TLs on integrations and implementations within Marketing Cloud to utilize the whole Salesforce org better
Consult and support other teams on solving complex business issues with Marketing Cloud
Serve as a Tech TL, ensuring the team's output is going through a rigorous QA process before reaching its stakeholders
Troubleshoot the most complicated technical issues, supporting the admins in their efforts
Monitor and regularly vet Marketing Cloud products, internal products and strategic developments for improvements and issues in collaboration with the Marketing Cloud PO
Keep track of all financial aspects of using the system, including SuperMessage use, storage limits and licensing
Communicate with Salesforce Account Managers on behalf of the company to negotiate better contracts and terms that save costs and have a maximum benefit
What makes you stand out:
5+ years of experience in a marketing automation role
2+ years of experience as a TL or manager
Experience with other Salesforce solutions (Pardot, Sales & Service Cloud, Financial Service Cloud)
Experience with a variety of marketing automation tools
Strong background in agile SCRUM agile practices and associated tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack, etc.)
Good command of analytics and reporting tools
Good command of SQL, AMPScript and HTML/CSS
Excellent organization and prioritizing skills, with keen attention to detail
Innate understanding of others' strengths and areas of improvement
Strong ability for complex problem solving
Ability to communicate effectively and inspire others
Perfect command of English
