We are looking for a talented and proactive Data DevOps Engineer to join EPAM and make a significant impact by delivering robust and scalable data solutions for a prominent client.In this position, you will directly shape and improve the data transformation framework that powers our client's analytical data ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain production systems using Azure technologies like Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure DatabricksImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform to manage deployments, builds, and configurationsOptimize Azure Databricks clusters for performance, security, and cost-effectivenessDeploy monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to ensure seamless system operationsIdentify operational inefficiencies and create automation solutions to streamline processesGuarantee data platform reliability and handle incident management with prompt troubleshootingRequirementsA minimum of 3 years' experience in Data Engineering, DevOps, or a similar roleBackground in platform reliability and operations, including system monitoring and incident managementExpertise in Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure DatabricksProficiency in Terraform for creating Infrastructure as Code within Azure and Databricks environmentsFamiliarity with data governance tools like Unity Catalog in DatabricksKnowledge of Azure access control models, including RBAC and Microsoft Entra IDCapability to automate workflows using APIs, such as Databricks REST APIs, alongside scripting knowledgeProficiency in English at a B2+ level or higherNice to haveCompetency in administering Databricks tasks, including cluster management, job scheduling, and workspace configurationsBackground in working with multinational, distributed enterprise teamsUnderstanding of managing data platform operations, including pipeline governance and cost-control mechanismsFamiliarity with HANA Cloud Platform and SAP Business Technology PlatformWe offer/Benefits
