5+ years' experience in data engineering.
Strong expertise in data integration, warehousing, and cloud platforms (Snowflake or AWS).
Excellent skills in Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.
Experience with job scheduling/orchestration (Apache Airflow a plus).
Proven ability to build data pipelines from diverse sources (databases, file storage, APIs) using SQL, Python, and Spark.
Flexibility to collaborate with a client in the Eastern Time Zone.
The team is international so fluent written and spoken English is a must! (B2 - C1 level)
Must be Bulgarian citizen
Your future role💼 What you'll be doing:You'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing advanced data solutions, including:
Integrating AI into existing systems (ERP, data platforms, user interfaces).
Creating scalable, cloud-based pipelines to process structured & unstructured data-and feeding insights back to the business.
Developing batch & near real-time integrations, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and automated data pipelines from multiple sources.
Supporting clients in their digital transformation journey, reimagining procurement with AI-powered processes.
Documenting solutions with clear diagrams and technical details.
Driving best practices in data engineering - from modular design to CI/CD automation.
Mentoring junior engineers and unblocking technical challenges.
✨ Bonus points for:
Experience with Informatica for data governance and lineage.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, DataOps, Terraform, Git, and orchestration tools.

Selection process
Introduction call (15 min) with HR.
First interview with a Senior Manager from the AI & Data team - 1 hour (you'll have the chance to discuss your background and learn about the projects).
Second interview to assess technical skills - 1 hour.
Final interview - an informal conversation with the Director of the team.
