Accounts Payable Specialist - Entry level

• Track, analyze and act on Accounts Payable.
• Investigate outstanding payment accounts.
• Processing invoices and credit notes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and business administrators between different EY entities.
• Handling payables and liaising with suppliers as required.
• Preparation of reports and reconciliations as required.
• General Ledger coding of invoices in compliance with internal and external rules.
• VAT, WHT or other tax coding of the invoices in accordance with statutory rules.
• Follow-up on approval of invoices and payments.

• Report on progress and escalate potential challenges.
• Other administrative and accounting duties and related tasks as required.

• Education in the field of finance, accounting or another relevant field.
• Up to 2 years experience in a similar field.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to take ownership and work on own initiative and in a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Good multitasking and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organised individual with attention to detail.

• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system will be considered an asset.
