About the job Data Engineer with Talend and FrenchProxiad SEE is an IT Consulting and Software Development company, part of Proxiad Group France, with headquarters in Paris, over 25 years of industry experience, and 1300 + specialists. The Southeast Europe (SEE) branch employs 250+ professionals, operates in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, and has provided services in various sectors (Healthcare, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, E-commerce and Retail, Procurement, etc.) for over 20 years.In 2022, we stepped above and introduced two innovative software products: Desk Buddy and GROW.We have implemented a hybrid work model and offer opportunities for learning, development, and CSR activities, following and incorporating ESG elements.In partnership with a major French banking group, we are on a mission to build a team located in Bulgaria, starting with openings for Data Engineers. The project is being conducted in Agile mode.Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user requests
  • Write functional and technical specifications in response to the requirements
  • Contribute to defining the test strategy and the test plan and acceptance
  • Develop Talend packages, stored procedures, and optimize queries
  • Resolve technical issues related to production
  • Perform unit and integration tests
  • Monitor production release
  • Defect resolution and support for N2
  • Write technical documentation
  • Manage project progress
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience with T-SQL: development and optimization
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2019
  • 2+ years of experience with Talend 7.3 (Ability to create Java jobs, apply business logic, and store data in a data warehouse)
  • 2+ years of experience with Power BI
  • Understanding of data warehouses, MDM, data storage types
  • Strong database knowledge and query optimization skills due to high data volumes
  • Fluency in French
